[Games] Starcraft 2: Heart of the Swarm

Wow, its been awhile since I wrote about a new game. Hmm, have I wrote about Starcraft 2 yet? No? Well, the things is, Starcraft 2 comes up in series. The same game, but each with different campaign content. In other word, expansion pack. The first expansion, Wing of Liberty, was for the human faction campaign, the Terran. Now, Starcraft 2 have gotten to second expansion pack, Heart of the Swarm, which is for the alien horde faction, the Zerg. The third expansion would be called, Legacy of the Void, a campaign specifically for the holier-than-thou alien, the Protoss. It is scheduled to be released in 2015, and I think I'll write about it whenever I feel like it, or probably never.

So now, let just see what Starcraft 2 have for us, as in for both of the, already published, expansion packs : Wings of Liberty and Heart of the Swarm.

First of all, the game retained much of the old features from Starcraft game. Like the right-hand click button, F10 for menu, the game interface, and many more. The only difference is that in this new game, the graphic and the story cinematic representation (the CGI) are much more better that the old game. There are also new units introduced from all three factions, and new character as well.

I don't know much about the third expansion, but the second expansion, Heart of the Swarm, is actually a standalone expansion. I mean, when I installed the game, the Wing of Liberty was already included, which is nice. In other word, if you missed the first expansion, well, you won't.

There is not much to tell about this game anyway. I mean, the game is good, its great. Its every Starcraft fans ever wish and hope for. In fact, the first expansion, Wings of Liberty storyline, is so intense that it reminds you of the good old time. Tychus Findlay coming out cool and steady, Jim Raynor doing stuff more than just gun blazing. The same thing in the second expansion, Heart of the Swarm. Sarah Kerrigan going in hot and nasty, as in, she was the Queen of Blade, the very same entity that brutally murdered Fenix. Turns out she is not done yet being the Queen.

However, the new Starcraft game, just like most of new and modern game nowadays, kind of giving out this 'pain in the ass' vibe. As in, the game doesn't just need to be connected to the internet, but also will be streaming data during the campaign loading screen. I have no idea why Blizzard would-

Oh yeah right. Its Blizzard.
Its a damn shame..
