April Fools' Day for you

April Fools' Day for you

It is the one day, that we don't really celebrate, nor do we wait for it to come. Its there, and somebody's gonna get pranked real bad, whether we like it or not. There are many sources regarding its origin, nobody knows which one is the truth, all could be probably just one big April Fools joke.

Easy steps how to lose weight

Easy steps how to lose weight

I must admit that is a harsh thing to say to someone who is overweight. Obesity is known to be influenced by lifestyles or hereditary or both. For lifestyle, obviously you can try change your way of life to a healthier one. But hereditary means its passed down by previous generation, which in this case genetically, and if we could change our genetics at will, we would've been living in the world of X-men full of mutants by now.

Sheepish Chinese New Year

Sheepish Chinese New Year

A few week ago, it was Chinese New Year. Everybody cracked some firecrackers, everybody danced, and everybody had fun. In a way, it was a unique holiday. Because somewhere on this blue planet that we called Earth, the holiday was celebrated for over 2 weeks. That's right. 15 days of public holiday. I don't know, that's what I heard anyway... that lucky bastard.

Happy Valentine's Day, or maybe not..

Happy Valentine's Day, or maybe not..

February 14th, I have a very fond memories for this particular date. Its a celebration day, though its not publicly recognized as a holiday, but a celebration nonetheless. Its the day where lovers do things that.. what lovers do. When I was young, naive, gullible, stupid, and possibly mesmerized by the serpent-like woman's poisonous charm.. wait, that's too toxic. Why am I being so toxic? This is weird, today should be a day of celebration.

Sad New Year for me

Sad New Year for me

People said, a picture worth a thousand meaning. I choose this picture specifically because the character in this picture, in a way, reflect my own personality. He is a man who try his best to fit with his surrounding, only to end up failing terribly at the end. But he doesn't give up, because there is more to life than just jump into the bandwagon and follow the crowd. My teacher once said, bird of the same feathers flock together. And I ain't no bird.

Hannah Minx, seriously where is she?

Hannah Minx, seriously where is she?

I felt like I should've updated that blog entry that I wrote before this. But I assume that Hannah Minx hardcore fans would, you know, follow her update. No matter how long she had been in hiatus. But now its 2015, and she was last seen in the internet since October 2013. That's like.. over a year ago. So what happened to her?

Tribute to Robin Williams

Tribute to Robin Williams

Robin Williams died on the morning of August 11, 2014. Which was 3 weeks ago. I know this is old news, but I haven't got the time to wrote anything in this few weeks. I even missed several episodes of my favourite TV shows. But that's not important.

Robin Williams, famous as actors and stand-up comedian. He had starred many great movies, and it was not just comedy for he too was known for taking mostly roles of substances and serious drama like Dead Poet Society and Good Will Hunting.

Simply a Volleyball Player

The name is Sabina Altynbekova, a member of Kazakhstan junior women's national volleyball team. She is from Almaty, Kazakhstan. She gained an instant fame when a video featuring her went viral in Youtube and dubbed as 'too beautiful for volleyball'. She first gained recognition when she traveled with her team as part of the Kazakh team to Taipei in Taiwan, for the 2014 Asian Junior Women's Volleyball Championship.

The Expendables 3 'Leaked'

The Expendables 3 'Leaked'

And by leaked, I meant the movie is out there. In the net, being voraciously downloaded from torrent websites out there. And amazingly, the version of the movie that was leaked is actually a DVD version, pretty high quality.

And it is all out in the open 3 weeks before its big premiere. You probably wondering that this is some sort of hackers attack or some cyber scurvy pirate scheme, but the truth would probably be much more plainer than that.

#SaveGaza , Israel, and Iron Dome

#SaveGaza , Israel, and Iron Dome

When we talk about Gaza, the only thing that came up on top of our head would probably be the Palestinian-Israeli conflict. What else Palestine are famous for, other than olives and olive oils? Perhaps the Jerusalem, holy city for the Muslim, Jewish, and Christians.

But did you know that the Palestinian-Israeli conflict have been going on since the early 20th century? It was tiring, long-winded, and complicated history of bloodshed, suffering and despair. Depend on which side of the story that you have heard, their conflict started even before the World War 2, and right after in World War 1. That was Arab Palestinian riot in 1920, where the Palestinian were against the influx of Jewish immigrant and Jewish growing communities. But the whole thing took a full swing in 1948 where Arab-Israeli War first broke when the Jewish started to declare their independence, gained recognition of the Israeli state, which lead the Arab nations started to intervene in the Palestinian affairs.

Pu-erh Tea. What's that?

Pu-erh Tea. What's that?

It sounded like 'pure tea', but actually the term 'pu-erh' comes from Pu-Erh County in the province of Yunnan in China where the tea is produced from. The tea is usually called 'black tea' in the West, or 'red tea' in the East, due to its dark color.

Pu-erh tea is one of the world oldest and finest tea. It is known for its great taste and health benefits. The tea leaves can be used, processed, or aged (fermented) in many ways. Making this tea to be beyond the scope of just mere tea. Its aspects include culture, health care, appreciation, and many more. In other word, the Pu-erh tea is highly regarded especially by the tea lovers.

Garlic, the miracle food

Garlic, the miracle food

Is garlic a fruit, herbs, or vegetable? Garlic is actually a vegetable, but can be use as herbs as well, though not a fruit because it doesn't have seeds in it. Garlic is commonly use as cooking or herbal ingredients. Garlic can also be eaten raw, though its pungent smell and taste would prevent you from doing just that. It will even give you a bad breath.

But that doesn't mean garlic is bad. In fact, garlic is usually called the 'miracle food' due to its tremendous benefits. Cut yourself and afraid to have infected with gangrene? Use a garlic. Have a cold? Eat a garlic. Intestinal problems? Cook with garlic. Garlic is even used as seasoning and condiments, because of its strong taste.

Nuffnang - I lost my Glitterati status

Nuffnang - I lost my Glitterati status

Nuffnang is an advert company, specifically for blogger. Believed themselves to be the largest blog advertising community in South East Asia. Wait, no, they believed that they are the world's leading blog advertising community.

Oh well, if you happened to stumble on Singaporean, Malaysian, Bruneian, or most of the South East Asian people's website, then you might see the conformity there. Most of them probably use Nuffnang advertisement banner over their websites.

Felixia Yeap - I Can You Can

Felixia Yeap - I Can You Can

A Malaysian model, and apparently the first and only Playboy Bunny up to date. Well, formerly. She is no longer a Playboy Bunny, and sparked quite a controversy following with her new appearance. She is now wearing full clothing. A Muslim hijab, if your will (Hijab means 'veil' or 'cover' in Arabic). The reason I'm writing about her right now, is because recently she got under a lot of pressure. Probably because she put a dateline where she would convert into Islam starting from this year Ramadhan (its 29th June of 2014). This causes the people who were too skeptical to accept her drastic change of appearance, where she started to wear hijabs since December 2013, unable to face the fact that she can do whatever the hell that she wanted to do without their approval.
