Brazil and FIFA World Cup 2014

Brazil and FIFA World Cup 2014

You didn't see it wrong, the two girls in this picture were indeed butt-naked. They didn't wear anything other than a layer of body paint. What does it symbolize? World Cup fever, that's what. For those who have keeping a tab on the news, would know that it is amazing that FIFA World Cup 2014 is still going on in Brazil, despite the violent protest back in 2013.

If anything we know about Brazil, it would be the Ipanema beautiful beaches, Christ the Redeemer statue (famously depicted breaking up and falling down in almost every apocalyptic movies), and of course not to forget their soccer champion superstars like Pele, Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, Kaka, and many more. With so much of talented soccer player, isn't just appropriate that FIFA World Cup to take place in Brazil this year? Well, from an outsider point of view like me, I do feel that way. But apparently, the Brazilians doesn't actually warmly welcomed this prestigious event to take place in their country.

[Solved] Dyana Sofya Mohd Daud bikini scandal

[Solved] Dyana Sofya Mohd Daud bikini scandal

Usually, I'll try my best NOT to write anything about political issues or news. Because it sucks ball. Politician usually lie and really loves lying. Even if you managed to get them to promise that they won't lie again after beating them to within an inch of their life, the promise that they had just made? Its a lie. But interestingly, to their warped mind, within the inside of their head, they firmly believed that they didn't commit the lie. To them, its simply a 'selected truth', or an 'omission of details'.

Nigeria, Boko Haram,and #bringbackourgirls

Nigeria, Boko Haram,and #bringbackourgirls

Motto: "Unity and Faith, Peace and Progress"
If anything that any of us non-Nigerian familiar about Nigeria, it would be scam emails from a bunch of Nigerian princes asking for a sum of money so that they could share their imaginary inheritance. Other than that, athletes.

You may already know this, but Nigeria actually have the largest GDP (Gross Domestic Product) in Africa, ranked 26th largest economy in the world, overtaking the Republic of South Africa . Also known as 'Giant of Africa', because of its large population and economy, Nigeria is one of the regional power recognized in Africa.

The Hudud Laws

The Hudud Laws

There are lot of stuff happening around the world. Things happened so fast, like you won't believe it is happening. From the Russian-Ukrainian standoff, MH470 plane disappearance, Sewol ferry incident, landslide in Afganistan, political turmoil in Syria, Belgium's anti-Semitic hatefest, and many more.

With the whole shitstorms in full swing, one thing caught my eyes. Brunei had adoptend, nay, implemented a new penal law since last week. By 1st May 2014, the new penal law which known as Hudud would be in full effect. There were a lot of reactions regarding on this implementation, within and without of Brunei. The United Nations in particular, condemns the Islamic laws, claiming it to be a direct violation to human rights. Others however, claims that the new penal laws to be outdated and barbaric, because the punishment includes decapitation and flogging.

No Running Man because of Sewol Incident

No Running Man because of Sewol Incident

Last week on 20th April 2014, Running Man cancelled their broadcast to give way for mourning the tragic incident regarding the sinking of MV Sewol, a passenger ferry enroute to Jeju Island from Incheon. Not only that, they also cancel their filming on the 21st and 22nd April. One of the production director, Jo Hyo-jin, said that it is impossible for them to do the filming due to the tragic incident. In a way, it was also to gives way to the production casts and crew members to mourn as well. Being a comedic variety, they can't exactly laugh and joking around when the whole nation is grieving. In fact, it wasn't just Running Man, but other music and entertainment show were also cancelled during that time by all 3 of the major broadcast channels. Instead, SBS, KBS, and MBC runs real-time news regarding the Sewol rescue operations to replace all those cancelled shows.

#PrayForMH370 The Story

#PrayForMH370 The Story

The incident happened on 8 March 2013, Saturday. The flight, MAS (Malaysia Airline System) Boeing B777-200 aircraft tagged as flight MH370, was from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing with 239 people on board, suddenly when missing when it did not make its landing nor did it report of its delay to the air traffic control tower. It was believed that the plane went missing somewhere in the Vietnam airspace where its transponder signal when dark and all communication were cut off. I know that this incident happened about 21 days ago, which almost a month, but because they have yet to found the whole plane (the news only report the suspected debris though they have yet to confirm it) so I didn't write anything because I don't want to jump into assumptions or conclusions on a false premises. But because its already almost a month, the survival rate of the passengers and crews alike, have reduced from thin to almost nil. Its been too long, and even if there are survivors out there, especially if they crash into the ocean, they would have drifted by the ocean wave far away from the point of crash site. So here I would like to post some chronological story of some sort, from my point of perspective, as a sign of tribute to those who may or may not lost in the crash incident.

Landslide in Ukay Perdana and what does it mean.

Landslide in Ukay Perdana and what does it mean.

KUALA LUMPUR: A landslide at a construction site in Ukay Perdana left three foreign workers dead and another injured.
Eight workers were performing piling duties at the Sierra Ukay construction site for single-storey houses when the landslide occurred at about 11am Wednesday.
The landslide buried four workers beneath the rubble while others escaped unscathed.
Selangor Fire and Rescue Department assistant director (operations) Mohd Sani Harul said when firemen arrived at about 11.30am, two of the victims had been pulled from the rubble by their co-workers.
"One of them, a Myanmar national had already died, while a Bangladeshi worker sustained multiple injuries including a broken leg.
"Two other workers were pulled from the rubble but they were already dead.
"The bodies have been sent to the Kuala Lumpur Hospital for post-mortem, while the injured worker was sent to Ampang Hospital for treatment.
"We are still investigating the cause of the landslide,” he said, adding that the department would work with other agencies to probe the matter further.
Mohd Sani explained the construction site was located on a hill slope in Ukay Perdana.
"We will contact the housing developer soon. Our operation was wrapped up within an hour,” he said.

The Comment:

Not exactly the biggest news out there. But for those who doesn't know where is Ukay Perdana or Sierra Ukay, or maybe you do know its in Ampang, the place is actually much more accurately to be near Bukit Antarabangsa.

You know, the one that have a major landslide that occurred in 6 December 2008, killed four people and buried 14 bungalows. The cause of the landslide at that time was believed to be the pipe leakage laid by Syabas, saturated the land with water and make the ground grow weak and smooth. Like mud or something.

The place gain it notoriety by the name of 'Hill of Death'. Which is hilarious to some people because we all know that the real reason that the landslide becomes big news was because it happened to famous people. Its bungalow you guys, who do you think lives there? When real disaster like food poisoning happened in schools throughout the country, no one even bat an eye, because you know.. its only cause the death of some peon's kid that nobody cares about.
Why? Have you ever heard a school canteen called 'Diner of Death' before? Exactly, thats what I thought.

What about the case back in 2010 where a crocodile terrorizing a fishing village somewhere around Teluk Kemang? Where in the end the crocodile was shot to death because, why not? If the authority will not take action then perhaps a real man would get the job done. I know about this case because I lived around the area at that time, and yes, there ARE crocodiles there. Salt water crocodile. The issue was ages ago and the complaints were numerous.
There were cases where people got their legs bitten.

Like this guy. Souce: Cosmo.com.my

But there are people ignored the case because, you guys, its a crocodile. Crocodile don't bite, they fucking murder you! And oh, what was the authority have to say about this case? Nope, there is absolutely no crocodile. There was also an official statement by the Menteri Besar saying, no. There is no crocodile. And if it does, don't poke the beast or it will retaliate. Let me be honest here, if you are living in a fishing village, its hard NOT to disturb the beast because, you know, you gotta to fish, needs to eat, got kids to send to college, that sort of things.

What.. that crocodile isn't from around here. It 'strays' from somewhere else. Like Sungai Linggi or somewhere ELSE.

Even if, the victim's injury was not caused by a crocodile's 'love bite', the reason why the victim even mention the word crocodile was because the locals knew there was a crocodile there. They just saying, you know. Like, hey you got injured, was it bitten by a crocodile or somebody just pour some ketchup for a really nasty pranks? And then everybody just laugh it out loud. Ha ha ha but seriously though, there is crocodile in the water. The locals, they are nice bunch.

Why do I relate both news that supposedly have no relation at all? Well, no reason in particular. Except when something becomes big in the news, you know that someone in higher ups or have a relation with higher ups was involved. Like the, 4 deaths and 14 bungalow buried in the landslide of the 'Hill of Death' in 2008. Or the landslide that kills 3 and injured 1 workers just yesterday (who were building, well, you guess it a bungalow).

The landslide that killed 3 and  injured 1 worker.

Hey, don't mind the 1,000 kg crocodile prowling around the fishing villages. In fact, you can even pretend that the crocodile doesn't exist.
You know why people ignored the crocodile? I bet because it doesn't involves a BUNGALOW.

That time when you realize that the corruption runs deep.

That time when you realize that the corruption runs deep.

The latest news! Good thing some people read newspaper thoroughly and someone notice that there were some sort of a new announcement or notice made by MCMC (Malaysian Communication and Multimedia Commission) or in Malay SKMM (Suruhanjaya Komunikasi dan Multimedia Malaysia), published in one of mainstream newspaper media, Utusan Melayu.

I decided to write up about this issue, TONIGHT! without delay simply because things have gotten worse by the day. Ever since one of the so called 'major source of digital piracy' was taken down, a lot of other websites, forum, blogs, wordpress, and whatnot also suffered the same fate. When people thought, 'well.. we had a good run', and continue with their normal daily lives because obviously they know that 'digital piracy' or 'digital copyright infringement ' is a term coined by the record publishing companies. They use it to sue whoever that is suspected of digital piracy and claim some forecasted losses that is totally unrealistic.

For example, when they caught a person who have downloaded like say, one hundred thousand songs, then the recording company will then try to claim damages amounted to $100,000 provided with each songs cost about $1. You see, whats wrong with this example is that, if the person who is caught downloading the songs decided to 'return back' all those songs, do you think the recording company would just accept it? Why wouldn't they? You do realize that those forecasted sales means the sales that they thought they would sell but in reality thing could turn a bit differently, right?

Now take a good look at this picture. And tell me what do you think about it.
