[Movie] Jackal is Coming

Jackal is Coming (or Codename: Jackal) is a 2012 South Korean action comedy film. Its an action comedy film, so they said. I watched this movie simply because some people it was good. And it was starred by Song Ji-hyo, where a lot of people praising her acting in this movie.

As I am a movie enthusiast myself, I decided to get a copy to watch it. Now, here I am, writing about this movie so that I could get over with it. Truth to be told, this movie have as much action as its comedy. Both are found lacking. It appear that this movie relies on the appearance of Song Ji-hyo. And it was advertise in a way that shows that the (Ace??) Ji-hyo would be acting as an assassin code-named Jackal. Something that a lot of people would be waiting for.

Well, honestly, not me though. I understand everyone are entitled to their own opinion and preferences. But to me, this movie is a bit of disappointment... Ok a lot of disappointment. The title was already sound like its gonna be one badass movie. Then the movie proceeded to be as sucky as it can be. It almost looks like that this movie trying its best to bore me to point of torture. Like someone had just make a dare that a movie is to be made so boring, by the end of the movie, everyone went out of the cinema and not knowing what the hell just happened in there.

Running Man popularity is dropping?

Jackie Chan he is 50% half Korean

Its not a secret that Running Man is reaching the peak of its popularity. But as the show keeps growing in influence throughout Asia, apparently Running Man show is not as popular in South Korea as the rest of Asia thought it would be.
Of course, Running Man is not the only variety show in South Korea thus creating different competitive environment for Running Man back in its own homeland.

But is Running popularity is dropping over the years?

No, its not that they become less popular, it just that their rating is stagnating or regressed a bit. Before this, their rating rises exponentially from 2010 to 2012. Its in 2013 that their ratings in South Korea decrease to almost the same level as 2011. The different of both ratings in 2013 and 2011 is almost 10%! That can't be right. Ok, maybe that doesn't seem like 'regressed a bit' at all. And the statistic number could be wrong, I mean, where does that figures come from anyway? I only looked the rating list from wikipedia, so that it doesn't really mean anything. Is it? Right, you guys?

[TV Series] Running Man: Don't walk but run!

Aahh.. I've been wanting to write about Running Man tv show for quite some time now. But I never had the time, and truthfully, I was never a fan of variety show. Until I saw Yoo Jae Suk dancing, and realize that he is actually the MC for the Running Man.Then, I started to watch and following the Running Man variety show.

Variety show is some sort of entertainment show that urm.. combine a variety of act such as comedy, stunt, and could even involves magic and circus act. But for Running Man, its mostly involves unscripted stunt and comedy. It was first aired on 11th July 2010 by SBS (Seoul Broadcast System) company. Oh, did I forgot to mentioned its a South Korean variety show? The show is in Korean.

I think this show have become quite popular worldwide, probably I don't even need to explain what the show is about. I think I would just write about the show cast members because they are the ones that makes the show as it is. The show not only full of comedy, body gags, but at the same time uses the opportunity to introduce South Korean remarkable landmarks, cultures and history. The show episode have now reach up to 180 and still keep going. That is quite a lot compared to the previous variety show, Family Outing which reach up to 85 episodes, and Family Outing 2 which only up to 17 episodes.
