[TV Series] RM Episode 220

Unfortunately, for this episode I didn't get to see it in a better view. I watched this episode in an online video streaming TV, on my iPad. So the screenshot here might look a little bit shoddy. Too bad. and I have no idea what episode theme or motive was. Was it a movie theme about apocalyptic event? Or and introduction of another Korean landmark? They did made the show shooting on an artificial island in Han River called Nodeulseom.

This episode introduced the casts from a Korean drama titled 'Birth of a Beauty'. The whole theme probably revolved around the drama setting. Usually I would hate this kind of motive, because the whole thing would be partially scripted to ensure everything going smoothly with as little variation as possible. However, the guests were a bunch of interesting people.

[TV Series] RM Episode 218

Sometimes simple is better. Instead of covering a wide area of place, this time the Running Man will be running around in one building. The theme this time was 'Music Concours'. Running Man was hosting their 1st Music Concours, and every music instrument playing geniuses were invited. The guests for this episode were Kim Ji-hoon, Jeong Eun-ji, and Oh Yeon-seo.

Is there something different about this episode? I can't really put a finger to it, but this episode was really hilarious, full of fun. The guests were Jo Jin-woong, Kim Sung-kyun, and Oh Sang-jin. The teams were divided into two, Upper Village Gang and Lower Village Gang. Jae-suk hyung and Haha joined in the Upper Village team along with the three guests, while the rest of Running Man comprised of the Lower Village team.

Running Man Heroes special episode. This time, instead of giving them superpowers and whatnot, they were without one. There were no guests this time too. Probably because there were separate missions involved and too many people can stretched the production team too much. Anway, Jae-suk hyung was Superman, Suk-jin hyung was Batman, Gary was Son Goku, Haha was Hong Gil-dong, Jong-kook was Wolverine, Kwang-soo was err.. an Avatar character, and Ji-hyo was Wonder Woman.

Another bride/ couple/ wedding episode. But instead of turning couples into teams, this time there were 2 team, composed of the bride and groom family. They started off with western styled family meeting where the guests were introduced. Only 2 guests came by this time, Jo Jung-suk and Shin Min-a. Jung-suk is part of the groom family, while Min-a is from the bride family.

In this episode, Running Man featured casts from 'My Lovely Girl' TV series. Hence there were 2 competing groups, The Running Man team and My Lovely Girl team. The guests were Park Young-gyu, Kim Ki-bang, Rain (Jung Ji-hoon), Krystal, and Alex Chu. Because they were numbered only 6 people, so Jae-suk hyung was included in the My Lovely Girl team.

[TV Series] RM Episode 213

This episode was previewed a lot in the episode of 212. The first 5-7 minutes were literally shown before, where the guests were revealed to be Seo Woo, Lee Yoo-ri, Kim Min-seo, Choi Yeo-jin, and Yoo In-young. But the preview was quite intense, seems like very exciting. Turns out it wasn't so bad. The theme for this episode is about Chaebol. Apparently the episode's title seemed to be a parody of something. Because its clearly written "It's Okay, I'm a Chaebol", where it's similiar to a drama that Kwang-soo was starring called "It's Okay, That's Love".

And the final part for the 1470 Race, this episode continues from the previous episode. They haven't finished the sub-game yet, and the number of guests and Running Man remained the same. After those horror rides, they gathered together at the Incheon Children's Museum for the next game. It was revealed before that whoever loses will have to fly to Taiwan, so the atmosphere became a bit tense. I think this the first time in Running Man that several members will not be around at the end of the show.

In this episode, I kind of lost words for it. Seems like they were planning big, but something seems off when the whole thing looks like a big punishment game. Another episode where they introduce another Korean traditional game called Alkkagi. Alkkagi is a Korean board game usually played during Chusoek holiday. It uses chess board with Go chess pieces of black and white. The game is a simple one, unlike the sophisticated chess board game, where the player need to flick the chess piece to took out their opponent.

At the start of the show, the title for this episode was 'Triangle Mystery'. But as you can see, the title on the upper left side of the picture shows that it was actually 'Legend vs Young Blood'. Well, both theme actually did incorporated in this episode.

There were 3 teams this time in the episode. One is the Running Idol team, while the other two were the New Idol team and the Original Idol team. So obviously the number of the guests was quite a lot. In the New Idol team, Haha was grouped with Kai, Se-hun, So-you, and Tae-min. While in the Original Idol team, Jong-kook was grouped with Danny Ahn, Chun Myung-hoon, Eun Ji-won, and Moon Hee-joon.

The Hallyu (Korean Wave) Star Race episode. There were 2 Hallyu Star and one of them was a guest. So it started with the Running Man given choices to choose between Girin (Giraffe) Hallyu and Tokki (Rabbit) Hallyu. For some reason it was obvious that Girin Hallyu was actually Kwang-soo.

Continuity from the previous episode. For this episode, they will have a one day tour race, where they get to go around and play. And by play, I meant doing mission. And by doing mission, I meant its not going to be easy.

The guests were just the same as the day before. But the team will be shuffled a little bit. This time they were put into couples, and also they have lost their memory. Wait what? Oh yes, the theme this time, they have lost their memory from the night before, and they need to recover their memory by racing toward the end goal.

This episode was actually separated into two. The first day and the second day. But both episodes were unrelated in term of the theme. For this episode, the theme was Quiz Battle. Where they would do quizzes along the their travel. Travel to where? To their next episode.

I wanted to write about this episode as fast as possible, but I was busy a couple a week ago. This episode was another unique episode where Jae-suk hyung didn't participate in the race, instead he accompany them as the MC. The Running Man except for Jae-suk hyung were divided into teams of 3 people. The guests were Fabien, Sam Otswiri, Son Na-eun, Yoon Bo-mi, Ji Sung, Ju Ji-hoon, Cha Yu-ram, Heo Kyung-hwan, and Baek Sung-hyun.

[TV Series] RM Episode 201

I know its a bit overdue. This episode was well a way a week ago, and I was kind of busy with something. I thought of stopping writing about Running Man in each every episode, and just go for the most exciting of them . Then this episode come out, and I was surprised. I was a bit skeptical when I knew that it would be a race against idols. I was never fond of idols pitted against the Running Man.

But this episode is a little bit different. Well, not too different. If you had seen the episode of Running Man VS Angel Eyes, then this episode bears a bit resemblance. The theme was simple, and the race was intense. Also, by now, South Korea would be in summer season. Oh yes, summertime. Warm weather and farming fields. The guests for this episode were, Chansung (2PM), Hoya (Infinite), Sung-kyu (Infinite) Jin-young (B1A4), Kang Min-hyuk (CNBlue), Min-ho (Shinee), and Bo-ra (Sistar).

[TV Series] RM Episode 200

Can you believe it? Running Man have reached the 200th marker for their episode, and they are not going to stop anytime soon. This episode is the continuation from episode 199 where they were training for the Asian Dream Cup 2014. But it didn't escape from their notice that FIFA World Cup 2014 is also just around the corner. Not to mention, by the time they finished filming and aired the show, FIFA World Cup fever would fill the air. And most people would already watched the Asian Dream Cup 2014 live on television. So that is why, this episode would contain 2 part. The first one was the Asian Dream Cup 2014, while the second part was some sort of Indonesia Race, like they one they have in other foreign countries like Australia, Vietnam, and others.

But just because the whole episode was not all about Asian Dream Cup, doesn't mean it any less entertaining. If anything, there were a lot of exciting scenes on both part. And because of that, I think I'll just highlight the most exciting, entertaining, and funniest, of the them all.

The long awaited episode of the Running Man's Asian Dream Cup race. Well, not exactly. They would be going for the Asian Dream Cup yet. Just like last year, they are going to have a 'boot camp' first, to prepare them for the international event.

Apparently, people haven't forgotten about Jong-kook failed feint and dribble move, Kwang-soo's heading to the ground and 'toad' face, and most of all, Jae-suk hyung wasted penalty kick. But they are not soccer player, and even The Commander was only a soccer fan, who loves talking about soccer but really sucks when aiming his kick.
