10 things that I hate about you

10 things that I hate about you

"Isn't she just adorable?"

But I would be lying to myself if I'd say I didn't have anything to hate about her. There are a few things that makes me so hateful toward her, I just couldn't stand anymore.

Here is a list of things that I hate about her;
  1.  She is cute, and always act like one.
  2. She is kind-hearted, she could easily make anyone as her friends.
  3. She is sweet, because she makes all the good things out of everything despite how horrible things happened.
  4. She always hear about my problems and try to be supportive.
  5. She is understanding and there is nothing that I couldn't explained to her, though it gonna take quite an effort to do so.
  6. She is funny, probably because the jokes were on her sometimes.
  7. She is independent, and always try to carry her own burden.
  8. She could be my best and closest friend, because she always there for me.
  9. She always care for the people around her, taking care others feeling when her own is hurting.
  10. She stole my heart... and doesn't seem to have any intention at all of returning it back. Hurmm.

All in that list looks like the things that I love about her. But how could it become the hate list. It is this simple. This, is what we called passionate longing. It is the feeling of love, turns into hatred. How so, you asked?
Well, in that list, if there is any one of the points was not fulfilled, I would have the feeling of anger building up in my chest, and it'll grow into resentment and later it'll lead to hatred. It becomes like that, because I love and miss her alot.
It is in the Malay sayings ," Love and longing, will cause hate and grudges, in time and reasons.".

So when I said I hate her, its because I love her and wanting her to be at my side all the time. And when I said I have grudges against her, it is only because I was longing for her and miss her so much for all the time that she had been absent.

Its funny that sometimes the things that you love will turned into resentment if you take it on a bad turn.  Its like playing football, the sport that you enjoy the most, but if you keep getting losing on every matches, the sport will turn into the thing that annoy you the most.

But in this part, on the list I just made, it may annoy me sometimes, irritates me when something went wrong, and could well make me angry and sad because she is not with me here right now, Then again, all these feeling comes from the first feeling I had for her,

"I love and miss u alot."

Games: Men of War

Games: Men of War

Men of War, you know what people would say, more like Women of War. Haha
Actually, no. Despite of what gamers review in gamespot.com and in gamefaqs.com board, I honestly think this is a good game if not great. At first I think the game is more or less like the Theater of War 2, but I was wrong.
First, Men of War is in much smaller scale of war compared to Theater of War 2. I mean, Theater of War 2 is huge, even with my machine of AMD Phenom quad-core processor and Nvidia Geforce GTX 275, I still got the game lagging. I don't know whether it is because of my machine, or the game itself is buggy, but I've never finished the game. Got crashed while in play, every time.
Second, Men of War single player campaign focus on missions that involves a few infantry and tanks, like a squad or battle group. There are a few part in the campaign where the battle get big, but you still end up with a few squads of infantries and tanks. Unlike in Theater of War 2, the battle is, like a war. You end up with a regiment or two, and you have to control all of them.
Now, why would I compare between Men of War and Theater of War? First, because the game is designed by the same company, the 1C Company. Second, because the game is kinda the similiar based on the graphic engine and the models used.
I found Theater of War 2 sucks, but Men of War nice. Weird huh?
Well I'll break it down to you guys why.

Take a look at the screenshot. A few infantries engaged here and there. Some says this game is a ripped-off from Company of Heroes, but I don't agree totally. Men of War allow the player to equip the soldiers individually, and there is limit to ammo, fuel and stamina. Which I found quite unique and makes it distinct from Company of Heroes. The game also much more realistic and focus on individual units where the units are not automatically group together. You can select the unit individually or select a few units to make a group or squad.
Oh yeah, there is no base building and resources collecting in this game, you have to make do with whatever you are given. Not in Company of Heroes, you practically can get limitless resources.. manpower, fuel and ammo to continue waging the war.

See how detailed the model is? Well, the same in Theater of War 2. But in this game the unit, is far more detailed. Oh yeah... the game have a feature called Direct Control, where you can control a unit in targeting and firing. In vehicle, you can even swap between main armament and the secondary weapon. That mean you could even control the machine gunner up there. Isn't cool? It is very cool, I assure you. You know what else, the game get so realistic you can abandon or hijack a vehicle. Because the limit the game puts on, your tank might run out ot ammo or fuel and you need to take someone else. You can get that in the Theater of War but the game is too huge for micro- managing. Just imagine, in this game on a mission,  your were give a squad or even four soldiers, and the enemy got a tank, light or some juicy heavy tank like KV tank, the Slugger or even Tiger 2, all you need to do is disable the tank's track and engine then the turret or go straight for the turret with AT grenade, the crews will be  panicked and run out or on fire and fall dead, you can get your soldiers into the tank and repair it back for you to use. Now, you got yourself a tank and running it over your enemies.

Not impressed?
Well you should try it yourself. If you got lucky, you would be driving the only tank in the map. Haha
In one of the missions, I was messed up probably because I met with Tiger 2 tank and the tank blew up all my tanks and massacre most of my infantry squads. I was left with 6 soldiers and I was given a task to take over a hill, protected by a Tiger tank and a couple of medium tanks, anti-tank guns, heavy machine guns, mortars and a platoon of infantries. So what happened was, I kinda stalk the Tiger 2 tank, damaged the engine so it would stop on its track then damaged its turret. Oh yeah, did I forgot to mentioned that if you destroy or totally blew up the parts ot the vehicles, you won't be able to repaired it back. Ever. And skip the hulls too. How to repair a tank's hull anyway? You don't, you need to a buy a new one. Well, it took me 8 AT grenades to make short of the Tiger 2 tank, then I seize it, repaired it, and  pummeled the hill from distances. The tank got a thick armor, armament that could penetrate any armor and, wow... the terror it sends to all your enemies. See, a well played strategies could turned the tide even with just 6 soldiers.

This picture is the Slugger that I jacked from the Amis. It was... awesome when I used it to ambush the Allies convoy consisting of  four M4 Sherman Firefly. You know what its look like, fireworks! Haha

This is when I repair one of the Sherman Firefly for myself. I got lucky because one of them was only damaged the turret. Those sprawling bodies? That is the tank crews, was actually.

This is when I run the tanks over the enemies. See that overturned tank? Try to tow that one! Haha. The lower tank was out of gas and the overturned tank was damaged on the hull, couldn't repaired it back. The upper tank? Its rolling baby~

Four pictures above, is when I used the jacked M4 Sherman Firefly to shoot on an AA tank with HEAT bullet using Direct Control. While HEAT bullet? AP bullet is good at destroying a tank's part but with HEAT it makes the tank easier to explode especially it you hit the engine, Nice~

Now see how good the game is. The game demand micro-managing and consume time for you to outmaneuver  your enemies. But because the battle is in a smaller scale of the war you wouldn't get pressured too much when thing turns wrong. You can always turn the tide by pausing and take good look at the map. There should be a weak spot in the line, a lone patrol or even an empty vehicle for you to take. All you need is a few guys to be the driver, the gunner, the loader and maybe a machine gunner. If you stuck with the infantry only, always go for the big gun, like MG42 or BAR, or going for deadlier weapon like sniper rifle.
Well, that's all about the gameplay. For the graphic you can see it for yourself in the pictures.

Minimum system requirements:

  • Windows 2000/XP
  • 2.6GHz Processor
  • 1GB RAM
  • GeForce 6200/Radeon 9600 Videocard or higher
  • DirectX 9.0c
  • compatible sound card
  • 4GB free HDD space
Quite runnable game now isn't it? The requirement is quite low given you had an average GFX cards. The game really worth it, if you a true gamer.
If you just looking for a time to kill before doing assignments or paperwork, better get yourself the Farm Frenzy

Games: Overlord 2

Games: Overlord 2

Have you ever played the prequel of Overlord 2, the Overlord and its expansion in Overlord: Raising Hell? If you had, then Overlord 2 will show you some superb improvement not only in gameplay but graphic as well.

When I first saw t
he game on the on top of the shelf in an unnamed stores, I was surprised. I didn't even get the news that the game was coming out. And there she was, on the shelf with the sign "New Arrivals". The reason for my shocking expression was because I had played the prequel before. The first game, the Overlord was great. It had little buggy, great graphic, easy gameplay to handle, understandable plot, and funny element here and there in the game. In other word, the game is quite delightful. In the prequels, not only the player can play as an Overlord, but you can choose between being a good Overlord or a bad-ass Overlord. The Overlord appearance will change according to the chosen path, like glowing aura that inspire the people around if your are good, or grown a set of horn and colored like a black knight if you choose to be bad.

But enough with the prequels already. Its your loss if you hadn't played the prequels yet. Seriously.

Well well, what about the Overlord 2? What so special about it? Well I'll tell you what special about it. First of all the game took place after the Overlord: Raising Hell. The last of the prequels was when the Overlord finally defeated the Forgotten God and claim the Abyss at the cost of entrapment. The Abyss fallen apart after the defeat of the Forgotten God, trapping the Overlord with it. But it just like what the Overlord adviser, Gnarl, always said, "Evil will always find its way." And just with that, here come the second sequel. In Overlord 2, the current Overlord is supposed to be the late Overlord's offspring. Who is the mother? Well well, I guess you have to play it to find out..

This game is slightly better in graphical performance compared to the prequels. It seem the models were quite the same, but I'd say its lighting and extra shadow make it looks better than before. The game also have surprisingly detailed background and models. Well, the game does demand extra juice from your PC, if you playing in PC. Here is the system requirement:

Minimal system requirements

• OS: Windows XP SP2 / Vista SP1
• CPU: Pentium D with 3.4 GHz or appropriate AMD processor
• RAM: 1 GiByte
• Graphics card: Geforce 6800 / Radeon X1800XT
• HDD: 1.5 GiByte

Recommended system requirements
• OS: Windows XP SP2 / Vista SP1
• CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo or Athlon 64 X2
• RAM: 2 GiByte
• Graphics card: Geforce 7900 GTX or Radeon HD 2600 XT
• HDD: 1.5 GiByte
• Creative X-Fi

Do you see what the game demands? Unless you wanna play the game with blurred faces and unnaturally slow motion gaming experience, you better get yourself the top-notch hardwares available in the market. I played this game with Windows Vista x32, AMD Phenom 9950 Quad-Core processor of 2.6 GHz, Nvidia Geforce GTX 275, and 3GB of RAM. I could have 8GB of RAM actually but my Vista x32 limits the memory to 3GB only, too bad..

It really worth the investment you know. What this game demands actually pretty much the same what the games nowadays demand. With the recommended system requirement of this game, you could play Fallout 3, COD Modern Warfare, COD Modern Warfare 2 and more.

Enough with the system requirement talk, we don't want to get your hope down too much, now do we? Lets talk about the gameplay here. Well its pretty much the same with the prequels, how to select your minions, to control your minions, and to use your spells.

There is a slight change in gameplay however, where in this sequel you get to possess your minions. Yep, there is a magic stone that when you feed it with your dark power, will allow you to get into your minion's body. Haha .... I'm not joking. The stones are located at some strategic places where you cannot access an area with the body of the Overlord. Like a corridor full of fiery lava that only the red minion could survive.

Most of other features are mostly the same like previous game. Just like standard genre of role-playing game, you can customize your Overlord with armor, helmet and weapons. You minions however will equip themselves with whatever they can get their dirty hand on. Be it farmer's fork or the legion sword.

Another new features is the sea battle. Yeah, in the sequel game you get to row a ship. Not actually you, but your minion will do the rowing. And not actually your ship, but you know what, you are an Overlord, just confiscate it. The sea battle involve of boarding each other ship. Yeah, too bad there are no cannons. But so what, you got red minions and they pack a punch against wooden-built ship. Haha . The battle will be revolving about throwing fire to the enemy's sail to cripple their movement, then you can board their ship and take it for yourself. Oh, you don't need sails, your minions gonna row the ship for you. The enemy could counter-attack with ramming speed and able to board your ship with a bunch of hippies elvens to attack your rowing crews. Hurmmm.. just delightful.

What else could I say about this game. It got simple puzzle, full of action if you enjoy seeing your minions do the dirty works for you, and the graphic is just breathtaking. Before I forgot, there are other new feature in this game which called Alignment. Well in previous game, there was also alignment meter for the Overlord but in this sequel, instead of the typical Good & Evil Alignment the game have Domination & Destruction Alignment. It means that the player can choose to be an Overlord who dominate not only the land, but the mind and the heart of its subject, or destroy everything in his path for he is the Overlord and there is nothing that can stop him. Don't afraid to unleash carnage and destruction because that is what an Overlord meant to be.

OH, did I forgot to tell you that you can have foursome with 3 of you mistresses? Wow, you'll never get that in the prequels. How to get that kinky actions? Just like what Gnarl always said,

Gnarl:"Evil will always find its way. Always.. Hehehe"

New Phone in da Town. Ora~it

New Phone in da Town. Ora~it

Nokia W901i

Oh yeah, W901i is what I'm talking about. Yeah.. not exactly the top-notch phone but it does fulfill my needs. It got quite nice camera with 2.0 megapixel and it could zoom up to 2.5x, ya ya I know there is better phone out there with megapixel of over 10 and could zoom zillion more times. But I don't think I'm gonna pay extra expensive just to get features I don't actually going to utilize. For me.. this one is quite adequate.
Not just the camera, but like any Sony Ericsson phone, this phone boast its speaker and walkman capabilities. Oh yeah, and it can play radio too. So practically with this phone I got a phone, a camera, a walkman and a radio. Did I mentioned it could be used as data storage transfer device. So yeah, a thumbdrive as well. Haha
My phone is in black colour, just like in the picture. Nice eh. I was given choice between black, white, red, and rainbow colour. Black colour look the coolest. Oh yeah~ I mean look at the silver lining on the phone. It fit the best with black colour. Oh.. you guys may not be able to see the silver lining because with its on the phone side.
In my previous post I mentioned about my old phone Nokia 6330. I didn't trade the phone because it still in good condition. I gave it to my sister as her secondary phone. yeah, girls LOVE to have multiple phone number especially different SMC. I spend about RM630 on the W901i and I still think its a good deal. I mean I got 5 in 1 kinda phone for Rm600+. When my dad bought the Nokia 6330, it was like RM800+, in its prime time of course..
I've been using this phone about a year now.. Hope the phone will last against the time. I know new phones keeps on coming every month. But thank God and my relentless effort trying to compare the best phone in market I haven't seen new phone that have something newer than my 5 in 1 phone. Haha

My Ol' Phone : Nokia 6630

My Ol' Phone : Nokia 6630

Now, here is picture of myself. Well, not exactly my face there. But today I wanted to show, my handphone. This phone was bought by my father a year ago. Well, my own phone was bought 4 years ago. 4 years ago I used a model called Nokia 3220. Not so cool huh.. 2 years later then I make a switch-aroo with my father, and there you go. My new phone, Nokia 6630. The phone actually used by my sister first. Then, when my sister bought a new phone for herself, she gave me this one. Its not exactly a bad phone. Considering all the features held by this phone, I'd say its almost average-function type of phone.

It got large screen, with 1.3 megapixel camera at the back. Along with it, is 64mb RS-MMC, where there already internal memory of 10mb. Which is useful for transferring, storing data. I used my handphone, to store vid clip, and musics to keep myself amused. Haha.. Its also enable me to install quite alot of games to keep me occupied while waiting for something. While its memory got lots of unused space, it can record a video up to 1 hour lenght. But I doubt anyone would use it to record anything.. 1.3 megapixel is not exactly spells crystal clear pictures.

Did I mentioned that this phone is also equipped with Bluetooth and Infrared connectivity? Infrared is not something common nowaday but Bluetooth is a must when it comes to sharing pictures and audio files. For audio, this phone use Real Player apps. It supports *.mp3, *.3gp, *.mpeg, *.rm and *.aac types of file.

The only downside of this phone compared to my ol' Nokia 3220 is that it doesn't features built-in radio. Yeah, my ol' Nokia 3220 can play the radio which really good to keep me updated for new news or listened to new musics. But then again, with blurred captured picture and inability to transfer data using bluetooth, I think Nokia 6630 pretty much beat the ol' 3220 in term of usability .

Well, I'll be darned. Got my self a new phone and its such a blissful life.
